Meet Kathy

Kathy Janusch James took a leap of faith with the publication of her first book, "Perfectly Imperfect." This book was inspired by the loss of her husband, David, and the birth of her grandson, Walker. She creates most of her stories based on experiences with her six precious grandchildren. Being "Gramma" is her greatest joy.

Kathy retired from Law Enforcement to pursue a career in education. She currently teaches Kindergarten, where she shares her love of reading and writing with her students. Kathy earned the teacher of the Year Award from her campus in 2023.

When she is not teaching or writing, Kathy loves traveling with family and friends. She also enjoys outdoor concerts, live theater and cheering on her favorite little people in their many extracurricular activities.
